On the first Thursday of every month, we host our Local Author Evening. These free evenings bring together four to six authors across different genres for a moderated conversation about their work and writing process. Each author will briefly introduce themselves, read a short passage, and participate in discussion with audience questions.
After the conversation, guests are invited to meet the authors, purchase books, and continue the evening over coffee, wine, or drinks in the store.
Local authors interested in participating should reach out to denverbooksocietyevents@gmail.com for information
Kindly include your name, a short bio, book title, publisher, genre, publication date, ISBN, retail price, and wholesale price (if available)
We provide our space after closing for no charge to individual authors seeking a space for an audience. Authors typically invite their audience, promote the event, and help shape the format of the evening.
Events may include readings, conversations, Q&A sessions, or book signings, and are a great way to bring readers together while introducing new audiences to the store.
Authors interested in hosting their own event should reach out to denverbooksocietyevents@gmail.com for booking and information
Kindly include your name, potential dates, a short bio, book title, publisher, genre, publication date, ISBN, retail price, and wholesale price (if available)
We review submissions on an ongoing basis as we schedule upcoming events.
